Hello!

The sunshine is poking through the clouds and streaming into the room where I am sitting. A blessed moment of reprieve from the stormy weather of the past few days and a healthy sign of fairer weather to come. In this moment, everything is as it should be, everyone is safe and the sunshine is smiling upon us. Somtimes it doesn't always feel that way though. Along those lines, one of our articles this month addresses drawing the line between wallowing in negative feelings to the point they "own us" versus feeling them while continuing to LIVE. I trust it will support your own dance with life challenges.
 
The combination of bliss, goals and motivation are a pathway to fulfillment and purpose. Our second featured article about following your bliss and our 50 FABulous List is intended to give you tips to discover your passion and stay motivated toward your goals.

This Month's Coaching Tip

The present moment is where life occurs. Nothing outside this moment exists, not the past nor the future. Present moment experience is a challenge for many. Practice stepping into the present moment by doing just that. S-T-E-P-P-I-N-G.
 
Right now, stand up. Put your feet a hip widths apart. Activate the muscles in your buttocks and thighs, your core abdomen and roll your shoulders back into a straight yet relaxed position. Feel your breath. Allow your chin to fall naturally with your eyes in a forward and relaxed gaze.
 
Now take a step forward... S-L-O-W-L-Y while maintaining your body position. Feel the earth beneath the heal of your foot, now through the sole of your foot and to the ball of your foot. Take another step, with the same process. All while breathing, shoulders back and relaxed, core muscles activated to support you.
 
Walk across the room allowing yourself to take five times as long as you normally would. Notice each moment with each step. By the time you reach the other side, notice how relaxed and centered you feel. And, it may have seemed like a long time. Slowing down to step into the present moment actually "creates more time"! Do you see the irony?
